DOUBLE DECKER MOBILE SHELVING Bruynzeel’s Double Decker mobile shelving is an ideal solution to maximize your archive storage if you have a building or storage facility with high ceilings. Bruynzeel’s Double Decker mobile shelving is an ideal solution to maximise your archive storage if you have a building or storage facility with high ceilings. Compactus Double Decker provides four times the capacity of ordinary static storage. It offers the ultimate space optimisation for buildings with high ceilings, and costs less than the equivalent installation of mobile shelving across two floors. A touch-sensitive electronic control panel makes operation of the system simple and user-friendly. The system’s “soft start and stop” mechanism allows the shelves to move safely and without vibration. Our sophisticated drive system moves at a constant speed regardless of load. Valuable and delicate objects remain perfectly in place. As a result, the Double Decker is proving an extremely popular choice for museum repositories, as well as for archive storage. The two levels of shelving are connected by a unique wheel console with the uprights running the full height of the system. The weight of both levels is carried solely by the mobile units on the ground floor. Top and bottom bays move together in one smooth motion along the slots in the steel grid floor. Clear sight lines between the two levels are maintained by the addition of a steel mesh mezzanine. Alternatively some customers prefer to specify wooden floor panels on the double decker mezzanine, which Bruynzeel will supply and fit on request.

VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) Order Picking
Very Narrow Aisle racking is commonly referred to as VNA racking for enhanced pallet storage utilizing maximum vertical height up to 14-15 meters with man up capability, providing direct access to individual pallets and/or SKU’s.
The system can be accessed with specially designed material handling turret trucks that can operate in narrow aisle passage of 2 meters, navigated by mechanical rail guidance or wire guidance.
The system demands a super flat flooring with close tolerance racking, proper placement of pallets of uniform size for efficient operation using VNA trucks. With an exceptional pace of load handling the picker can process substantially more than counterbalanced forklifts or reach trucks, as the pallet can be moved very quickly at considerable height in a diagonal direction and at consistently high speed.

Driven-in pallet racking system is designed for high density storage, used in warehouse to store homogeneous products on a first in/last out (FILO) principle, often low in access and rotation of products.
The pallets are loaded and retrieved by driving the forklift directly to the pallet locations, at various storage lanes.
Picking and replenishing is possible using counterbalance trucks or Reach trucks, depending on the height of system and/or the pallet rails.
Best suits for similar SKUs in large quantities within a confined storage area. Whereas, in case of drive-through, the double-sided access allows the forklift to store the pallets entering from front side of the lane and retrieve from other end, FIFO (First-in/first out) principle.
Drive in rack and drive through rack systems decrease storage and retrieval time while increasing efficiency and productivity among workers.
The rack design incorporates a stability structure, reinforced with horizontal and vertical bracing components. This is completed with optional floor guides that assist access for forklifts.
